Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Move better, feel better and live better.
Physiotherapy is a rehabilitation science that strives to maximise an individual’s functional potential, reduces dysfunction and the impact of injury. Its goal is to encourage health and fitness in everyone’s life.
We combine time-tested principles of physiotherapy protocols with those derived from the most current medical knowledge.
Physiotherapy – Women’s Health
Our ethos is to empower women to get better, feel better, prevent and take control of their problems and stay active throughout every stage of their life.
For the best outcome and to achieve your goals, we encourage you to play an active role in your treatment and rehabilitation and to put in practice the advice and Home Exercise program.
Women’s health physiotherapy, in addition to pregnancy and birth assistance, addresses a wide variety of women’s needs.
Women’s health physiotherapy treats a variety of women’s health concerns, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic/vaginal pain, pregnancy and postpartum musculoskeletal pain, osteoporosis and much more.
Academics- Learning and Teaching
For Dr. Snigdha, learning and teaching are a continuum.
She is the only physiotherapist in India to have completed all 3 Obstetric physiotherapy courses and 3 Pelvic Health physiotherapy courses conducted by Academy of Pelvic Health, American Physical Therapy Association, the only one to be invited to be a faculty for their course in India and the only one to be interviewed for their website.
Community Service
She is also regularly invited by Rotary, Inner Wheel and Lions Clubs to conduct workshops, seminars and webinars on health and fitness awareness programs for the public.
Recently she has been invited several times to speak in webinars organized by different associations of Gujarati Indians based in Canada, for which her articles have been published in many local newspapers of Canada.
Pelvic Health
Pelvic health physiotherapy is much more than Kegels. It deals with evaluating and treating a wide range of pelvic floor problems in both women and men such as urinary and faecal incontinence, organ prolapse, painful sexual intercourse, pelvic pain, constipation, coccyx pain, pudendal neuralgia, post prostate surgery, post endometriosis surgery.
We do a thorough assessment, formulate a treatment plan that will target your current problem and underlying causes.
The Results you Want.
The Care you Deserve.
Your health is our priority. We believe in treating the underlying cause of pain rather than just the symptoms.
