Pelvic health physiotherapy is much more than Kegels. It deals with evaluating and treating a wide range of pelvic floor problems in both women and men such as urinary and faecal incontinence, organ prolapse, painful sexual intercourse, pelvic pain, constipation, coccyx pain, pudendal neuralgia, post prostate surgery, post endometriosis surgery.

We do a thorough assessment, formulate a treatment plan that will target your current problem and underlying causes. Treatment modalities vary according to your needs and may include relaxation or strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, exercises of muscles connected to pelvic floor, breathing techniques, manual therapy, education and lifestyle advice.

Manual therapy techniques could include soft tissue mobilisation, myofascial release, joint mobilisations, muscle energy techniques, nerve mobilisation, trigger point release.
